For a great tape

  1. I love Samba Diabaré Samb, but am not a fan of Baaba Maal. Unfortunately this cassette demonstrates my point. SDS is great, but the musical additions are superfluous, and SDS certainly does not need these.

    Nevertheless, it's good to know about the existence of this cassette. Keep up the good work!

    1. Hello,

      Thanks for your visit.
      You're a little hard with Baaba Maal. He made some good records.
      Personally I love his 1983 album "Djam Leeli". Already with Mansour Seck, two guitars, two voices, and that's all.

  2. WrldServ is definitely a little bit hard with Mr. Baaba Maal. Even though he's rooted into the Pular culture, I really love his work and this album has some of my favourite jams. Thanks Aduna who's really inspired lately

  3. I'm a fan of Baaba Maal at least one part of his work, but I agree with WrlServ, DiabaréSamb not need any retouching, he is the essence.
    Then, after Samba Diabaré Samb, listening the music of Baaba seems powerless.

  4. I like / dislike the art as was created
    and I love this cassette!!!

  5. One thing is sure. This tape doesn't leave indifferent ;-) (-;
